The first
walk (31) of the new year was centred on the Harvest Home in Greet (Photo
right) on January 14th
2012. It was a typical winter’s day, frosty but sunny. Ideal for walking.
We all enjoyed the excellent Wye Valley HPA, one of the beers on offer, on

The last two of our popular walks were
completed in fine autumn and winter weather. No.29 centred on the Inn on the Marsh, Moreton on 5th November, and No.30 centred on the Red Lion
in Northleach on 3rd

We Visited Prescott
Brewery on Thursday 27th October 2011 which
was well attended. Please click on photo

The first walk after the Summer break was centred on the Great Western Arms at
Blockley on Saturday 1st
October 2011. As you know, we had one of the hottest early Octobers on
record, and this photo (please click on it for a full report) reminds us of
that late appearance of Summer. |

The winning beer at our 4th
Moreton Beer Festival on 23rd
to 24th September was Jasmine’s Chocolate Orange Stout (4.5%)
from Isle
of Avalon, who also won last year with Sunrise. Runner up was American
Pale Ale (4.7%) from Dark Star. For a full report please click on

were treated to a minibus trip to a Skittles
